
The Square 1 Art Fundraiser has begun! Help Englewood’s art program raise money for a kiln and clay tools to jumpstart our ceramics/clay curriculum! Every bit helps. Families and friends will have until November 11 to order.
👉Each Square 1 catalog has a unique access code, QR code, and free stickers related to your child's art. Square 1 offers 😍FREE SHIP to home😍 (with a small processing fee at checkout).
🌙We will have a pajama day if we reach at least 60% participation.🌙
Note: If your child was not enrolled before the Square 1 submission deadline OR they missed the project makeup days...do not worry. There will be another opportunity in the spring semester.

What a great week we had last week, and this week is going to be amazing! We raised $260 for our United Way Hat Day. Thank you for all that participated. Parents - please remember that Monday is our CandyMan Main Event for students. Tuesday is the Brick City Interest Meeting for Parents. Thursday is an Early Release Day at 1 pm. Thursday is also a Pink Out Day - we are wearing pink to support those affected by breast cancer. Friday is a Teacher Workday for Staff (No School for Students).
Please remember our Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct 29 from 5-7 pm. Also, next week, October 28 - Nov 1st is our Red Ribbon Week.

Good afternoon Bear Family! Ms. Daughtridge let you all know of Hat Day on Thursday October 17th. Students can bring a $1 to their teacher. This will allow your student to wear a school appropriate hat the entire school day on October 17th.

Good Evening Bear Family -
We have had a great week this past week at Englewood. We have a few events this week: On Wednesday, it is Unity Day - we are wearing orange to stand up to bullying. It is also United Way week for Nash County Public Schools. Students can bring $1.00 on Thursday to wear a Hat all day to support our United Way Fundraiser for the school system. It is also School Lunch Week - School Lunch Pirates Find Your Treasure.
NCPS has mandated that physicals and immunizations must be completed at this time. If you received a letter from the nurse, this week, you have until December 1st to get your documentation in place. On December 1st, if your student has not completed the requirements for physicals and immunizations, then they will not be allowed to attend school until all documents are received.

Just wanted to let the parents of Bus 366 know: Bus 366 will be replaced with Bus 100 this afternoon.

Happy Monday Bear Family! Wanted to share this with you all so you can mark those calendars. Englewood Elementary Music program will have spirit night at Zaxbys of Rocky Mount from 5pm-8pm. Make sure to mark your calendars for Nov. 4, 2024.

Just a reminder that TONIGHT is our Fall Festival from 6-8 pm on the big playground. We will have games, food trucks, and fun! Wristbands purchased previously will be at the gate. Wristbands for all games is now $20 at the gate. Food trucks are pay at the trucks. We look forward to seeing everyone TONIGHT.

Our Fall Festival is tomorrow night starting at 6:00pm. Come join the fun of games, bounce houses, photo booth, food truck, slushies and more. We will be collecting items for Western NC disaster relief as well.


Good Evening First Grade Parents of Ms. Tant’s HR -

You should have received a letter this week explaining that Ms. Richardson will be transitioning to a 1st grade class. We are moving your student to another Kindergarten class effective Monday. Today was National Custodian Day! We appreciate our hard working custodians today and every day!



Englewood Elementary is partnering with Englewood Presbyterian Church to collect supplies for Western North Carolina. You can send in the items needed with your child to their homeroom teacher, or bring them to the front office. We will also take donations during our Fall Festival.
